Nightly sounds starting at 8:00 PM include a pulsating mix of rock, rock and roll, retro-rock, salsa, merengue, techno, hip-hop, reggae, regaetton and other popular dancing tunes as spectacular lighting shows swirl over stage, dance floor and other areas of the Club. Subtle lighting accent specific areas while impressive light shows splash over spots of frantic euphoria and excitement.

Special daily programs are played between 5:00 and 7:00 PM Classic & Smooth Jazz, Afro Cuban Jazz. Some of the unlikely gems you will find at Afro Cuban Jazz Club are Cuban ska,(Babalú) and Oregonian mambo! with genuine African flavor.

What started out as an effort to provide the perfect soundtrack to a Latin dance party became a tribute to the global appreciation and realization of the musical bounce between Africa and Cuba that resonated all over Eastern and Western Europe, Asia and the American continents.

Central to the Afro-Latin phenomenon is Africando. In the 1960s and 1970s, the biggest names in African music, including such heavyweights as Youssou N’Dour and Salif Keita were performing Latin music, thanks to vinyl that came from abroad.

Musical exchanges between musicians of Cuba, Mali and other parts of West Africa were triumphant. Performers like the Fania All Stars and Celia Cruz toured Africa and became icons throughout the African continent and worldwide.
